Introduction

These pages endeavor to record specific details of Biblical passages in the manner of E. W. Bullinger's The Companion Bible. This incomparable volume embodies concise detail without burdening the reader with too much commentary. I attempt to do similarly with my own observations, or significant citations.

The order of the Old Testament books follows that of the Hebrew manuscripts. The order of the New Testament books follows the order of the majority of the Greek manuscripts, instead of the order of the Latin Vulgate, which has dominated Western Scriptures. See Restoring the Original Bible, Ernest L. Martin.

The references to Pillai are to Bishop K. C. Pillai, the late author of Light Through an Eastern Window. The reference numbers are to an informal abridged transcript of a series of audio teachings.
